Hi my name is Ambyr Smith Windley. I have been attending Kingdom Nights since May of 2024.
I started coming to Kingdom Nights because I was in search of biblical community, authenticity, and a space for the Spirit of God to move, without an agenda or anything planned. My first night at Kingdom Nights truly changed my life and started a transformation journey internally. I was struggling a lot with being vulnerable with God, trusting other people around me, and using the gifts the Lord has given me. Coming to Kingdom Nights once a month truly gave me a chance to rest in God's presence with people who truly have a heart of the Lord and seek His face authentically. It also showed me that I can be vulnerable with people and to use the gifts the Lord gave me within Kingdom Nights. Even outside of Kingdom Nights and currently, I am still doing life with the same people who are involved with Kingdom Nights.
On September 26th, 2024, I lost my house due to Hurricane Helene. During this time, the Kingdom Nights family heard about this and surrounded me with community, prayers, and helped me through this tough season of life. I did not know it then but this season of losing everything was a set up for the next season of my life. I moved to South Carolina to work as a music director and admin for worship for Oaktown Church (previously known as Cathedral Church) in July 2024. Even from far away, the Kingdom Nights family was still constant in keeping the community continuing to invest in my life, and provide ways to bless me in South Carolina.
Thank you to Kingdom Nights for all you have done to invest into my life spiritually and physically! Without the Kingdom Nights Community, I wouldn’t be who I am and here today. I am forever grateful for what the Lord has revealed to me through Kingdom Nights and the community He has brought to me. I am so excited to see what is up next for Kingdom Nights as I know they will continue to impact other lives as much as they have mine.
